Kyle Smith (Ad Rock): Kyle began performing at the age of 14 as the frontman for such notable punk bands as Vertical Smile and Afro Kitchen. He’s traveled the world over, making his early living as a “professional rollerblader,” he even competed in the very first XGames. In 2003, he joined the cast of Ad-Libs, DFW’s premier improv troupe. All of this has led to his current dual life as a rapper/salesman. Josh Martin (MCA) Born and raised in Louisiana, Josh moved to Dallas, TX at the age of 18 to begin his career in entertainment. Since 1994, he’s written and produced short films, co-owned operated, and performed in his improv, sketch, and musical comedy troupe, and even provided body talent for Barney (the purple dinosaur) on the award winning world tour. He now serves up the fresh rhymes with his band mates. Also, coincidentally, Josh “has more rhymes than he has grey hairs, and that’s a lot because he’s got his share!”
Jason Cockburn (Mike D): Born in Seattle, but raised in Central Texas, Jason Cockburn has lived all over the US and on three continents. After getting his first live theater gig at the age of eight, Jason has continued to work in and around the entertainment industry for most of his life, performing in many different plays, bands and independent movies. As the head creative guru of Deguello Productions, Jason works as a songwriter, singer, screenwriter, videographer, director, and producer.
Eric Neal (Mix Master E): Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Eric Neal is a lifelong musician and a mainstay in the Dallas music scene. Eric started playing violin at age 4, studied music at BTWHSPVA, and is known for his prowess on guitar, bass, pedal steel, and a slew of other instruments. At the tender age of 41, he decided to add scratch DJ to his arsenal and immediately took the world of Beastie Boys tribute bands by storm! In addition to multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and teacher, Eric is a professional puppeteer and puppet builder who has done work for Chuck E. Cheese’s as well as his own Band of Puppets. www.bandofpuppets.com
